Inspired by Ruby Tuesday, who wrote Trust Me, I Know, I’d like to just bare all and show the contents of my purse. Now, up until I saw Ruby’s everyday purse, I thought I was a serious bag lady. I don’t know if other women have this problem where they find that each purse begins to get bigger, and bigger with age. I started out late with purses, having my first one gifted to me as a joke in college. Now, after a husband and a son, I started wearing ones with a strap across the front, just because my poor shoulder couldn’t handle it anymore.
Mind you, when you see the contents, I have spared you the sight of the occasional diaper, wipes, and Chris’ car keys – all of which have become my responsibility somehow in the last four years.

Now, we spill . . .

the only thing that goes in my “purse” are bills and medicine lol. No, I just started actually carrying a purse some again. I hate it though. I hate being responsible for it and having to carry it around. Yet, I only have so many pockets lol. I only carry the bare basics. My wallet, my inhaler (I saw that you have one too), my keys and my camera, oh! and I just started carrying coupons with me too. If only I could remember to use them lol.

All of the things in that bag are essentials, LOL. And I couldn’t even put my phone in there, because I was taking a picture with it.
I have a very small bag and only carry it if I have to. Purses to me are cumbersome..lol 🙂
I have no idea what the little duck( the little yellow thing) is for but looks fun. xx
Flashlight. You would be surprised how often that comes in handy.

Inhaler, keys w/ library card tags, pen, ear buds, eye drops, duck w/ stuff crammed in his head, lipgloss, cigarrettes, a ring, a makeup bag thing, a lighter, something borrowed and blue, a wallet, a spiral, mascara

Close. Keys with those shopping rewards cards. Pain in the ass. Duckie flashlight. Again, I’ve used that more times than anyone else probably would need to. We live up a very long private drive, so there’s no lighting. The blue thing is one of those “String Dolls” that’s really just a quarter machine voodoo doll for your keychain. The ring is actually a cufflink with a real tiger’s eye. My husband and I both carry one on our person at all times. It’s just our thing.
And I believe the rest is correct with two important things missing.
Er, three.
What did I miss?
The purse itself, and a wallet! And I forget the third thing right now…
Oooh, pretty purse. I don’t put a flashlight in my purse; I use an app on my cell phone for that, lol. It actually is better than the one flashlight I own.
I want your purse! Not the contents, just the bag. 🙂
It’s a one of a kind! I bought it at one of those homemade shops in our local Strip District.
I have one like that, but I bought it on a French island. And it has a cute little bird on it too. 🙂
I love birds. Maybe not as much as you, but I raised and trained parakeets as a hobby when I was a kid.
